Why not a virtual festival? what is it that makes us share our creations in one palce ant time? why is this so important for our life?
Call for Entries 2017
Reaching the end of the year, KIdoglaz - is ready to accept all youth audiovisual works for the first edition of the festival which will be held from March 22-25 , 2017.
Films created by children and young people (up to 18 years old) have the opportunity to travel to Monemvasia, Laconia Prefecture, and take part in the first ever festival of young freelearner artists, an international meeting of young freelearners audiovisual creation.
Deadline for submissions is January 31, 2017.
We seek to collect and screen the total of youth audiovisual works of young filmmakers from Europe and the rest of the world, making Kidoglaz the biggest “Festival” of its kind in the world.
Through Kidoglaz and its diversified activities during the year (with screening of films throughout Greece, film workshops and seminars), we hope to arise awareness about the importance of media literacy in child growth.
This was indeed the motivating force behind our decision to organise this festival.
We do believe that it will constitute a high point in building new and lasting bonds among the young participants.
Screenings of short films, film workshops, sightseeing in Monemvasia, are going to be part of this festival.
All the unschooled/homeschooled freelearning youngsters who have created films, individually or through workshops or democratic school groups, are called to send their films to Kidoglaz. Bear in mind only that:

Participation is open to works of children and youth up to age 18

There is no limit to the topics.

We accept fiction, documentaries and animation films.

The duration should not exceed 10 minutes (titles included).
